Linen Shirting & Suiting ImperfectionsUpdated 17 days ago
Just received your linen suit or shirt and noticed some bumps in the fabric? Before you head over to our exchange/returns portal, here's what you should know:
- These bumps are called slubs. They are a natural characteristic, not a defect, and a unique feature of linen that speaks to its authenticity. The slubs are a result of the natural, slightly uneven nature of the flax fiber from which linen is made and are a telltale sign that the fabric is made from genuine linen and not an imitation. They add to the natural/organic look and feel of linen that appeals to folks.
